Summary findings across tracked brands

Three patterns that emerge from the India dataset.

Brands with India-specific carbon data

~12%

Only Arvind Limited, as a manufacturer headquartered in India, publishes facility-level emissions data. No international brand in this tracker discloses country-level carbon data for Indian operations.

Brands addressing heat stress exposure

~12%

India's garment workers face increasing heat stress risk. Only one brand references heat in the context of worker wellbeing programmes tied to India. No brand discloses a formal heat stress response policy for Indian suppliers.

Brands with SBTi-approved targets

~62%

A majority of tracked brands have SBTi-approved or in-progress targets — the highest rate across all four tracked regions. However, none translate those targets to country-level commitments for India.
